DC is back with a punch in 2022

Superhero fever has shown no signs of slowing down and 2022 is set to kick it into overdrive as DC push to reclaim audiences with 5 major releases. 

The slate is packed full of a diversity, including DC’s first step into animated feature films with DC League of Super-Pets, as well as the biggest movie star on the planet, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson entering the DC universe in Black Adam.

The year is being bookended by their two tentpole titles, with March’s The Batman set to employ the same dark, gritty tone as 2019’s Oscar winning Joker, and Aquaman 2 set to be the big Boxing Day title once again after the first film grossed nearly $7.1M during the same period in 2018.
