TikTok utilised the high talkability of Mov’in Boat to launch an Australian-first activation and run a highly engaging social competition.

Challenge

TikTok were on a mission to own all things summer across Sydney and drive talkability through stunt-lead activations across key locations.

Solution

TikTok branding featured heavily across the Mov’in Boat site, from under the screen and on the projector booth to the entrance archway and perimeter banners.

They also hosted a nightly competition encouraging guests to create a TikTok at the venue and upload it for the chance to win tickets to a future session, as well as an F&B combo.

The central focus of this partnership was the impactful and highly visible Tik-Tok-A-Too, which delighted over 3,200 passers-by for the 10 days it was floating in Darling Harbour.

Results

  • 803,000 views on the Mov’in Boat TikTok page

  • 85% of Mov’in Boat sessions were sold out

  • 28,745 total paid admits delivered across the season
