Somersby Sparkling Cider

Somersby distributed over 5,000 samples at Moonlight Cinema to promote the launch of their sparkling-flavoured ciders.

Challenge

To launch a brand new Sparkling Cider into the competitive alcoholic RTD market requires brand awareness and product trial to gain consideration by key demographics.

Solution

Somersby set up branded sampling stands on sites for most Moonlight Cinema film sessions with an M or higher rating. Upon entrance to the site, guests were greeted with samples of both flavours for trial, with full size product available for purchase at the onsite bar.

These samples were enthusiastically received with positive feedback from guests, many of whom purchased the full size product onsite and enquired about which retailers carried Somersby.
