Guardians Of The Galaxy: Volume 3 Lights The Way For Another Highly Successful Year In The MCU.

Last year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) saw huge success with multiple films hitting record box-office numbers and smashing admission records in their respective franchises, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder.

The third and final film in the iconic Marvel trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 will continue to pave the way for another highly successful year in the MCU, following the release of Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantamania earlier this month, which had the biggest opening weekend for the Ant-Man franchise.

The hype for Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 been building off the back of the incredible Superbowl trailer, which has provoked many emotional responses from fans who aren’t ready to let go of the beloved gang of misfits. The trailer also has many fans questioning if all of the Guardians will survive their final outing. Many fans are expecting tears following the conclusion of the film but are grateful to have “one last ride”.

Marvel continues to masterfully create highly emotional connections between fans and the characters, and this trilogy is a prime example. Even though comments following the release of the latest trailer reflect that fans are anticipating tears, they also know there won’t be an under-delivery of humour.

The cult Marvel following can be attributed to many things, but the way the films manage to take fans on such a perfect, thrilling and satisfying rollercoaster ride of emotions, moving audiences from tears to laughter, is an experience that to many is unmatched.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3, is set to hit the big screens on May 4, 2023.
