English film director, Edgar Wright directs another hit movie Last Night in Soho which had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in the first week of September, 2021.

Starring Kiwi actress Thomasin McKenzie as Eloise, an aspiring fashion designer in London who is mysteriously capable of entering the 1960’s where her character encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960’s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.

The thrilling, stylish blend of time-travel movie and psychedelic horror releases on the big screens November 11.

Written and directed by Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh, Belfast is set for a 11th November release in theatres.

Belfast tells the story of Buddy, a young boy and his working class family living through love, laughter and loss in 1960’s Belfast, Northern Ireland. Collaborating with Judi Dench for the sixth time, Branagh’s black and white cinematography, musical selection and impressive cast is an overall crowd-pleaser.

Belfast is in cinemas January 6.

Everyone’s favourite spooky family are back in this sequel to the 2019 animated comedy. The Addams Family 2 is set to release in theatres January 6th 2022.

Parents, Morticia and Gomez are distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with “scream time.” To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, It, as well as many new kooky characters. What could possibly go wrong?

The Addams Family 2 is in cinemas January 6th.

The Matrix franchise is gearing up to release their fourth movie The Matrix: Resurrection in theatres 1st January 2022.

Directed by the Wachowski’s, the sisters have worked as a writing and directing team through most of their careers. They made their directing debut in 1996 with Bound, and achieved fame with their second film The Matrix (1999).

The saga tells a story of war between human resistance and a race of sentient machines who imprison humanity within a virtual reality known as the Matrix. Keanu Reeves character Neo is set out on a course to free humanity from the Matrix and to ultimately end the centuries-long Machine War.

The Matrix: Resurrection is in cinemas January 1.

To say a film has been long anticipated may seem a little cliché, but that is true for the gripping prequel to the beloved HBO drama The Sopranos, which is widely considered to be one of the best TV shows of all time.

The Many Saints of Newark takes a look at the formative years of New Jersey gangster, Tony Soprano. The film is set in the explosive 1960s, in the era of the Newark riots, when the African-American and Italian communities were often at each other’s throats.

The Many Saint of Newark is in cinemas November 4.
